I had searched for several years for the right contractor to redo my kitchen. I tried several contractors on smaller home improvement projects or handyman jobs but they all were either poor communicators, poor quality or too expensive. I found New Line Remodeling on a Maryland Contractors site and Carlos was at my home the next day to review my handyman projects. He asked excellent questions, quoted a fair price and finished the first job I gave him the next day. I was so pleased, I showed him my kitchen and hired him to replace the countertops and cabinets as well as install a new garbage disposal and a tile backsplash. He worked with me on each step of choosing cabinets, granite, sink, under cabinet lighting etc. His network of granite and cabinet people were excellent as well! His attention to detail was even higher than mine (and I am picky) and the end result was gorgeous, on budget and a total installation time of 6 DAYS from tear out to being able to use my new kitchen. He even rerouted the mess of pipes under the sink for a more functional space. I ALWAYS recommend New Line Remodeling for any job in my home or my friends' homes. Carlos and his team at New Line Remodeling did an excellent job remodeling our basement. He converted our 1/2 bath to a full bath which required extensive work removing old tile revising the plumbing and enlarging bathroom with new drywall new marble tile and a beautiful walk in shower with new toilet and vanity/sink and recessed lights with a dimmer. They also removed drop ceiling for our entire basement and this required extensive work rerouting duct work and copper pipes for plumbing and fixing in our ceiling so they were properly run along the joist(previously done by multiple contractors in past) and replaced with sheet rock and 8 recessed lights which we are very happy with! This change also makes our basement look so much bigger! We highly recommend calling Carlos for any renovations you need in your home. After checking New Lines reviews I was cautiously optimistic...I was so impressed with Carlos and his team, they arrived everyday at 8 am and the work started immediately. All the team members worked very hard and on a daily review, I could not believe that they had accomplished !! All the employees in the company were very polite and respectful. New Line Remodeling did a fantastic job in diagnosing the cause of water damage around our large kitchen window in our home, replacement of the window and sill, adding wainscoting, interior wall replacement, and painting. We had many companies come with their ideas and estimates, but Carlos from New Line was the only one who would do a water test to truly diagnose the problem, and more water tests throughout the repair to be certain it was corrected. We contacted New Line Remodeling to do some improvements and repairs to our 95+ year old house. After receiving a very cost competitive and reasonable estimate we contracted them to do the work such as repairing cracked/sagging plaster ceilings, build an additional bedroom closet, encase a pull-down attic staircase, upgrade kitchen cabinets and countertops including a new sink, install 2nd floor bath ventilation, and secure loose exterior aluminum siding. A lot of work. The estimate indicated a 2-week completion date, of which we were a little skeptical. Not only was the work performed skillfully and competently by Carlos and his team but was completed ahead of schedule. This included some changes to the original scope of work. The team was very polite, punctual, and conscientious about their work, and assured a thorough clean up each day. I needed some renovation done in my small vanity area, between the master bedroom and bathroom. The drain pipe had a leak and needed to be replaced. I wanted the wall mounted sink replaced with a cabinet and sink on top and a new faucet. I also wanted the carpet under the sink replaced with tile floor. Due to the Pandemic the work could not all be completed in a couple of days as originally planned. The cabinet and faucet didn't arrive until 4 weeks after the tile floor and painting were done. Carlos was willing to start the work and then come back when the other parts finally arrived. I still had enough leftover tiles from the master bathroom, so Carlos and his crew were able to continue with the same pattern from the master bathroom into the vanity area and adjacent linen closet. Nobody would be able to tell that it wasn't all done at the same time. When work finally was able to resume, I had another problem. The cabinet was too tall, but Carlos had no problem shortening the legs by 2 inches. I also had decided to change the light fixtures in the bathroom and vanity area, which Carlos and his help did. I also decided to replace the large wall mirror with a wood framed mirror that would match the cabinet wood. Carlos never complained about all the changes I came up with and did everything with a smile. He painted the wall after taking down the large mirror and old light fixture before installing the new light. I don't think that there is anything in a house that Carlos and his crew can not do. They will have to come back one more time to install the new mirror, when it finally arrives. I am so pleased with the workmanship and the friendly attitude Carlos and his crew show, I have recommended him to my daughter, who has been looking for a reliable contractor for some time.Read More

Carlos and his crew at New Line recently completed a first floor remodel that included a master bedroom, bath, closet and a beautiful open kitchen with a great pantry. Carlos was the first contractor that we met with that understood our budget and worked with us to figure out a way to stay in that budget. I showed him several pictures of what I wanted and he made it happen. The work was completed in the proposed schedule (6 weeks) and they did an excellent job.
